THE ELECTIONS OF THE MANAGING STRUCTURES OF THE UNION OF CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY
On 4 May in the premises of the Tirana International Hotel were held elections for the governing structures of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania to the Presidency, President and the Audition Commission.
Members of the Assembly of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry yesterday voted to the Presidency, President and the Audition Commission process that began at 9.00 and finished at 19.00.
This process was attended by 92 members from 109 of the Assembly. From this process emerged a new leadership of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry made up of 20 members, chairman of the Union and the Audit Commission.
According to the Election Commission headed by Secretary General of Union of Chambers Mrs. Redeta Baholli and Chairman of the Commission Mr. Fatos Ngjela voting results are as follows:

Chairman of Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania was re-elected Mr. Ilir Zhilla.
For the Audit Committee were selected Mr. Edmond Cami, Mrs.Elisabeta KATIAJ.
Newly elected President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Zhilla after the new decision-making bodies of this institution, expressed his appreciation for the faith that gave the Assembly of the Union of Chambers of ensuring that the Union of Chambers of Commerce will be a strong voice of private enterprise and a strong lobby with central and local Government.
